Clean room, sweet and helpful owner, amazing view from spacious balcony, comfy bed, convenient location.

The location of the hotel is great as it is near several restaurants and the city center. the room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony offering a spectacular view. the beds were comfortable and the host was friendly and helpful, providing pick-up service from the ferry. the bathroom, although smaller than expected, was not a major issue for a solo traveler.

That the bed was a little hard, but this is to be expected in Greece.

Explored a medieval castle & archaeological museum nearby. Just a short stroll from a lovely beach. The free shuttle service was a touch - because walking in Greece is highly overrated, isn't it?

Who needs a comfortable bed anyway? I came here for the authentic Greek experience of sleeping on a rock.

The rooms at Gyrouli Studios are amazing! They have a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea, port, and castle. You feel like you're in a movie every time you step out onto the balcony. Plus, the rooms are air-conditioned, so you stay cool and comfortable during the hot summer days.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the coffee machine in the room. I prefer to get my caffeine fix from a cute local café nearby.

L'accoglienza è professionale e attenta alle esigenze dei propri ospiti. La struttura offre anche una piscina idromassaggio per momenti di relax.

Le pareti divisorie e le porte delle camere non offrono molta privacy, consentendo di sentire nitidamente le conversazioni degli altri ospiti.

Oh, how I loved climbing all those stairs! So convenient and fun, especially after a tiring day of sightseeing.

I had an amazing stay at Gyrouli Studios in Astypalaia! From the moment I arrived on the island, I was met with a clear sign at the ferry and taken to the nearest point by car. the studio itself was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated. I particularly loved the large balcony with its stunning view of Pera Gialos port and the kastro. the location was perfect, with bars and tavernas just a short walk away. the prices on the island were also very reasonable. the host, who spoke excellent English, was incredibly helpful and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The wifi in the room worked perfectly as well. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 👌.

gyrouli studios was a fantastic stay - beautiful views, comfy beds, and a perfect location with both the town and beach just minutes away. the highlight was seeing the traditional astypalaia house created by mrs. poppi, an amazing story worth hearing. a must-visit and support!

communication could be improved. had trouble reaching the owners upon arrival, resulting in a couple of hours of waiting.

The daily cleaning service was also a nice touch. I loved the balcony, as it offered a great view and was quite spacious. the location of the studio was also a major plus, as it was conveniently located just a few minutes away from the center square and a short distance from the ferry port.

One aspect that I didn't particularly enjoy was the uphill walk to the studio. It was a bit more challenging than I had expected, especially when we arrived late at night with heavy luggage.

Location perfect, lovely harbour view. Closer to Chora, great for eating out and visiting the castle. Popi the host is amazing, recreated a traditional room with researched costumes and items. Beautiful views, traditional Astypalaia house.

Nothing that I didn't like.
